A myofascial cupping treatment uses a combination of massage strokes and negative pressure to lift, separate, and stretch underlying soft tissues. Cupping is typically applied on the neck, shoulders, back, thigh, calves, and upper arms.
Our patients can often feel a light pinching sensation under the cups, followed by a negative or ‘lifting’ sensation around the area being treated. Following treatment patients often feel much lighter and more relaxed.
Myofascial Cupping is used by our Treatment Room Sports Therapists, against a background of comprehensive clinical research and scientific evidence. All our practitioners are registered with the Sports Massage Association, and have completed several Myofascial Cupping and Decompression courses, guaranteeing high quality treatment.
